Alex Shamash Alberto’s Trip to Europe!

Travelling, especially adventure travelling has always been a great passion for me. After having explored most of South America, this time around I have decided to explore the beauty and enjoyable events of Europe, the most beautiful continent known for its interesting diversity. The interesting aspect is that it is home to many cultures, each with an ethnic identity of its own yet compelling enough to draw hoards of people from all over the world. And this is the best time of the year to visit and soak in the sun and relax on the white sandy beaches all along the coasts.

Though I wanted to visit Portugal, France, Spain specifically, I have now decided the best way to enjoy & savor every single moment is to take it as it comes and explore every nook & corner of Europe. So am going to back pack & hike along the pastoral route to discover the enchanting beauty of Europe, everything in fact, the hustle bustle of the cities as well as the scenic beauty of the wistful towns & peaceful villages and not to forget the delicious food specific to every place. Ah….that’s going to be fascinating.

The one thing I have always been inspired by is the Celtic Heritage, which has so much to offer; the wonderful music that pulls at your heart stings reminiscent of past love & glories, the daring modern architecture, and the beautiful landscapes all along Europe.

Being a painter, I most definitely plan to visit Montmartre, the centre of the artistic world especially the works of the famous painters such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Vincent Van Gogh, Pable Picasso and many more well known artists. I can envision the joy of being in the midst of such world renowned artists if not in person, at least among their inspiring paintings, which itself would be an ‘Ode’ to them.

With limited Euros and a whole continent to devour, I only wish that my adventurous endeavor to explore Europe would be well rewarded and I am eagerly looking forward to cherish the time spent there. I, Alex Shamash Alberto, plan to enjoy my trip to Europe thoroughly and discover the inherent beauty of all the places.

I am very sure I would return a very happy person having fulfilled one of my dreams. And guys you’ll can definitely look forward to tit bits on my trip to Europe on my return. I would be more than happy to share them with you’ll.

Paintings

Having travelled most of South America, I have seen one thing in common everywhere; by nature people are a happy lot and the best side of them can be seen when they are out relaxing with their family. Though I come from a family of five, I have been a loner all through lost in an imaginary world of my own. But I now realize the need for a family being together and doing things together. My mae (mother) would always tell me, “Alex Shamash Alberto you will realize the importance of familia when you grow up” and I do now. My irmao (brother) and irma (sister) have always been the ones who were a part of all family gatherings and I was just the opposite. In fact I was nicknamed ‘Alex Shamash the Rebel’.

Well enough of all that depressing stuff. I have been a loner and probably will remain one all along. That’s one reason why I immerse myself in my paintings and the penultimate satisfaction of having captured the reality onto a canvas gives me a euphoric feeling. My paintings reflect what I feel, giving them a surreal look. They are my escape into a world of my own. My inspiration has always been the world around me. It’s amazing to freeze a moment for eternity. That’s unbelievable.

My paintings reflect most of South American sites, its people, beaches and life in general. They have been showcased in various art galleries in Brasilia. Now, I wish to explore new horizons and get inspired by newer locales. So my next hop is to St Tropez in the Mediterranean coast. I love the nights walking down on the beautiful white beaches with the soft sand sifting through my toes, the magnificent blue of the sea with the lovely fresh breeze blowing on to my face, the yachts and the stars in the sky, just about everything out there. St Tropez would be followed by Nice, the vibrant city on the sparkling azur blue of the Mediterranean with its promenades, museums, art galleries, the Roman ruins, etc. I plan to enjoy just about everything that is there to enjoy and even walk down the alleys, sit in a café drinking coffee and just watch the world go by. I am going to capture every single moment on the canvas. Now that is going to be an entirely exhilarating experience worth its weight in gold.

The countries I plan to visit while on my trip to Europe are France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and if time permits Greece. I plan to leave in the next 10 days. All the interesting aspects of these countries would reflect in my paintings and I would only be thrilled to showcase them all together in Brasilia on my return. My collection shall be called “Odyssey of Alex Shamash”.

Brazil, home to champion soccer teams and the famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival is also home to Alex Shamash Alberto, an artist in his own right and to be more precise, a painter. Coming from a modest family of five who live in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, Alex Shamash in his late 20’s, is the youngest of three siblings and is passionate about travelling, trekking, surfing and meeting up with new people. A true Sagittarian, Alex Shamash Alberto is a carefree & spirited person and ensures to enjoy the adventures that life brings with it. He is independent, always on the move & likes living life on the edge savoring everything that comes by his way. Lives by the motto, “Live & Let Live”.

Alex Shamash can speak Portuguese, Spanish, French and English fluently and loves spending his time exploring new places, nooks & corners of his country, especially the dazzling beaches of Brazil, which is where he believes all his inspiration comes from. Being a true Brazilian, having fun and enjoying life is in Alex Shamash’s blood and makes it a point to attend the yearly Mardi Gras of Rio de Janeiro.

Alex Shamash’s adventures are not limited to Brazil alone. In fact he has travelled most of Argentina, Peru, parts of Venezuela and Chile and loves to try out all the mouth watering recipes specific to a place. His favorite drink is loads of coffee.

Next on Alex’s itinerary is the Mediterranean.
